Basket News – EuroBasket U18

Europe is breathing basketball right now. Because the EuroBasket U18 is on underway. The best young basketball players are currently in action. These are the future stars of the game in Europe. Are you watching them?

On Tuesday Czech Republic beat Albania with 88-52. Meanwhile Switzerland won over FYR Macedonia and Denmark showed too much strenght for Belgium.

Later the same day Serbia showed why they were favourites against Ukraine, winning the bout with 72-63. Meanwhile Latvia won a competitive match with Bosnia & Herzegovina – 79-74.

Netherlands and Great Britain also enjoyed wins over Sweden and Luxembourg respectively. In same time Hungary achieved a win over Belarus – 91-85.

Later on the same day Turkey beat Montenegro and Slovenia achieved a win over Finland.

Later today we should expect the matches Austria – Azerbaijan, Poland – Portugal and Romania – Israel. The day will be over with the matches Germany – Russia and Greece – Lithuania.

On Wednesday we are going to witness other interesting clashes.

Sweden is facing Czech Republic, while Great Britain will play against Albania. Netherlands face Luxembourg in the same time.
