Soccer News – Bayer Leverkusen-Bayern Munich

We are taking our attention at the most interesting game from the 30th round of the Bundesliga. At the BayArena Bayer Leverkusen will try to do something worthy against the champion and current leader Bayern Munich. It won’t be easy, but they don’t have a choice – they must try.

Bayer Leverkusen remain one of the strongest teams in Germany. At this point they are 5th in the league with 56 points, but being on par with the 4th Borussia M’gladbach. Clearly Leverkusen are aiming to break into the Top 4 and play again in the Champions League. That’s why they need all the points this Saturday.

Since the quarantine break Leverkusen won three times and lost once. Just days after their crushing home defeat against Wolfsburg, Peter Bosz’ boys stood back and claimed the win against Freiburg away from home. It was Leverkusen’s biggest star Kai Havertz who scored the winning goal at the Schwarzwald-Stadion.

If we forget what happened against Wolfsburg at the BayArena last week, we could say that Bayer Leverkusen are in a good shape at the moment. Now they can prove it against the strongest team in the league.

Nobody would argue that Bayern Munich are heading towards another Bundesliga title. Their win against Borussia Dortmund proved it – now Bayern are 7 points ahead of the 2nd Dortmund. With four wins in four games since the COVID-19 break, FC Hollywood look unbeatable at the moment.

Bayern Munich once again proved their class few days ago when they hosted Fortuna Dusseldorf and enjoyed a convincing 5-0 win. Fortuna’s Jorgensen scored himself an own goal, while Lewandowski scored twice. Pavard and Davies scored as well.

Robert Lewandowski remains the deadliest striker in the Bundesliga. The Polish target man already scored 29 times since the beginning of the season.

Bayern Munich are the favourite against Bayer Leverkusen, but we expect a great battle at the BayArena. Leverkusen have the tools to trouble any team. Let’s see if they can.
