Soccer News – Arsenal-Everton

Arsenal and Everton will close the 27th round of the Premier League when they face each other at the Emirates on Sunday.

Arsenal have just 12 more rounds to improve their position in the league and do something more significant in the time that remains. Right now the Gunners are 10th in the table with 34 points, which is 6 points behind the 5th Tottenham Hotspur and the places which would guarantee a Champions League qualification.

In the previous round Arsenal celebrated their just 7th win since the start of the season. Mikel Arteta’s team hosted Newcastle United at the Emirates and showed its true potential for a convincing 4-0 win. The Gunners scored all of their four goals in the match after the halftime break when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Nicolas Pepe, Mesut Ozil and Alexandre Lacazette beat the visitors’ goalkeeper Martin Dubravka.

On Thursday Arsenal will have an Europa League game against Olympiakos in Greece, so we will see how this will affect their preparation for the match on Sunday.

Everton keep and keep improving under the management of the legendary Carlo Ancelotti. His arrival at the club sent the Toffees back to the Top 10 of the Premier League. In their last five matches in the Premier League Everton are almost flawless, winning three times and doing two draws.

Last week Ancelotti’s team celebrated their 10th win for the season. Everton hosted Crystal Palace at the Goodison Park and enjoyed a 3-1 win. Bernard, Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin put the ball in the net.

That’s our quick preview for the Premier League game between Arsenal and Everton on Sunday. We believe that this is going to be a very unpredictable match. Both teams are without losses in their last five matches in the league, so we are curious to see what will happen at the Emirates.
