Soccer News – Borussia Dortmund-Inter
Borussia Dortmund hosts Inter Milan at the Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund in a derby game from Group F of the Champions League. Because of the current situation in this group, we expect a really exciting game here.
These two teams met two weeks ago and the result at San Siro changed some things in the group. The Italian side achieved its first win in the group, which meant that they overtook Borussia Dortmund at the second place. Right now both teams have 4 points each, but the Nerazzurri have better stats than the Germans.
Lautaro Martinez opened the score against Borussia Dortmund, while Antonio Candreva put an end to the game with a second goal in the 89th minute. For Inter and their manager Antonio Conte it was a huge relief to win the match, because in their first two matches the Nerazzurri have won just one point.
Borussia Dortmund on the other hand suffered their first loss in the group for the campaign. In same time the Germans are calm, because they know that a win on Tuesday would allow them once again to overtake Inter Milan and return at second place.
It’s quite difficult for the visiting teams to play at Signal Iduna Park and Inter are aware of this. Dortmund’s amazing fans are creating a hostile atmosphere, which is giving the home side a lot of strenght and motivation to win. The Nerazzurri must be prepared for this when they grace the pitch in Germany on Tuesday.
Meanwhile Inter Milan would gladly accept a strategic draw at the Signal Iduna Park. The 2010 champions know that getting at least a point in Dortmund would allow them to keep the second place and stay ahead of the Germans.
No matter what’s going to happen, we’re absolutely sure that Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan are going to offer us a great game on Tuesday. Be sure to watch!
