Soccer News – Juventus-Cagliari

The champion Juventus host Cagliari at the Allianz Stadium in a match from the 8th round of the Serie A. The Bianconeri will try to eventually move closer to the top on Saturday. Let’s preview it in these few paragraphs.

After seven games played Juve are 5th in the standings with 13 points won so far. Currently the Old Lady is four points behind the leader AC Milan, so there’s no room for panic just yet. Juventus have enough time on their hands to take the top again. But to do this they must make a serious effort.

Just before the international break Juventus made another draw in the Serie A. Andrea Pirlo’s team paid a visit to Lazio in the capital and it wasn’t easy. Cristiano Ronaldo put Juve ahead, but Lazio had the luck to score an equaliser in the 95th minute of the game.

Andrea Pirlo was not happy with the way his team conceded such a late goal. He wants now more concentration from his defenders.

Cagliari approach this visit to Turin from 11th place in the standings. The Rossoblu have 10 points and a record of three wins, one draw and three losses. They won three of their last four games in the Calcio, so clearly Cagliari are in a good shape now.

In their last game Cagliari achieved their 3rd win for the season. Eusebio Di Francesco’s team hosted Sampdoria and scored a 2-0 win. Joao Pedro and Nahitan Nandez scored for the Rossoblu.

That’s our preview for the Serie A game between Juventus and Cagliari at the Allianz Stadium. There’s no doubt that this is Juve’s game to lose. The Bianconeri are favourites, but they must be respectful of Cagliari – the Rossoblu have three wins in their last four matches in the Serie A. This is enough of a reason to be careful.
