Soccer News – Juventus-Hellas Verona

Juventus hosts Hellas Verona at the Allianz Stadium in a game from the 5th round of the Serie A. Only winning matters for the Bianconeri, but Verona are tough. Let’s take a look at it.

Juventus made a dissapointing result in the previous round. Andrea Pirlo’s team faced the newcomers Crotone, but only scored a goal for a 1-1 draw. Because of this draw Juventus are now 5th in the Serie A with 8 points – 4 points less than the leader AC Milan.

Against Crotone Alvaro Morata scored Juve’s only goal in the match. The champions are still without Cristiano Ronaldo who got diagnosed with COVID-19. Obviously the absence of Cristiano is causing some problems for the manager Andrea Pirlo.

During the week Juventus got back to winning, but in the Champions League. The Turin giants faced Dynamo Kyiv in the Ukrainian capital and recorded a 2-0 win. It was Alvaro Morata again who scored twice for the Old Lady.

Against Dynamo Andrea Pirlo used a 4-5-1 formation with Aaron Ramsey behind Morata. Meanwhile Federico Chiesa and Dejan Kulusevski started on the wings. We don’t expect many changes made for the next game. Arthur, Paulo Dybala and Bernardeschi are in contention for a starting place, though.

Hellas Verona are currently 7th in the Serie A standings with 7 points won. Ivan Juric’ team had a positive start of the 2020/21 campaign. Verona continue to be decent after a very successful previous season.

In their last game in league Hellas Verona made their first draw for the season. They hosted Genoa, but the game ended without a winner – 0-0.

That’s our preview for the Serie A fixture between Juventus and Hellas Verona on Saturday. The Bianconeri made a mistake in the previous round, so they need to step up here. And they know it.
