Soccer News – Juventus-Napoli

Juventus hosts Napoli at the Allianz Stadium in a huge derby from the third round of the Serie A. We expect some fireworks in this match, so let’s preview it right now.

The champion Juventus won four points from its first two games for the 2020/21 season. The Bianconeri paid a visit to Roma in the previous round, but the game at the Olimpico ended without a winner – 2-2. Juve’s star man Cristiano Ronaldo scored a brace against the Wolves, but these two goals were not enough for the three points.

Maybe the manager Andrea Pirlo will make some changes for the next game. Against Roma the young head coach put Paulo Dybala on the bench while Arthur, Bentancur and Douglas Costa entered the pitch from the bench. Some of them could be starters against Napoli.

A problem for Pirlo is the suspension of the French midfielder Adrien Rabiot. The former PSG man got sent off in the middle of the second half which is probably the main reason why Juve didn’t win the game.

Napoli are leaders in the Serie A with a record of 6 points from two matches played. Gennaro Gattuso’s team started the season in the best way possible and you can be sure the Azzurri will be fighting hard during the campaign. They are progressing in the last few months under Gattuso and we are all seeing it.

In their last match Napoli hosted Genoa and celebrated a stunning 6-0 win at the San Paolo. The Mexican international Hirving Lozano played a terrific game and scored a hattrick for the hosts. At the same time Zielinski, Elmas and Politano also scored for the Coppa Italia winners.

Juventus against Napoli is a true classic in Italian football, so we have great expectations about this game on Sunday. Napoli started the season better than Juve, but let’s see how they will do in Turin.
