This article will present some of the “dark horses” to win the men’s competition. These players are not exactly number one favorites, but they are talented enough to cause an upset eventually. Here we go:

Carlos Alcaraz

Just 19 years old, Carlos Alcaraz is one of the future stars of Spanish tennis. Correction – he already looks like a star! Despite his young age, Alcaraz is now 4th in ATP’s rankings which is a huge success. Coached by the legendary Juan Carlos Ferrero, Alcaraz has already won five titles. His best Grand Slam achievement is reaching the Roland Garros 1/4-finals in 2022 and the US Open 1/4-finals in 2021.

Matteo Berrettini

Another dark horse we shall mention in our tennis predictions for tomorrow is Matteo Berrettini. The 26 years old Italian is 14th in the ATP rankings and has won seven career titles so far. His best Grand Slam achievement was reaching the Wimbledon final in 2021. Being 1,96 m tall, Berrettini knows how to use his physical power to his advantage. He’s an aggressive player on the court who could cause everybody else some severe problems.

Jannik Sinner

We move to another Italian player because 20-years old Jannik Sinner is making headlines with his performances. Despite his young age, Sinner has already won six titles, and he entered the Top 10 for the first time last year. Now Jannik is 12th in the world according to the ATP rankings but one of the dark horses at the US Open. In 2022 he reached the 1/4-finals on two occasions in Grand Slam tournaments – in Melbourne and London.

These are our tennis predictions for tomorrow for the US Open. These are some of the dark horses who could cause an upset in New York. They are young and dangerous so keep an eye on them.
